Make a Difference ~ Kids Take Action

"It is very important that kids take action so people hear our voice. If kids don’t speak up people won’t know how we feel. Then people will think kids don’t matter. If we speak up people will know that we care about what happens to the Earth. Also they would know that we know what is happening to the Earth.

"One thing happening to the Earth is global warming. Pollution rises and captures heat. It makes the Earth get hotter and hotter. To stop it we need to use cars less and bikes more. Finally there is littering. Littering is causing the Earth to be messy and nasty. All people need to do is take 5 more seconds to put it in the trash. Bad things will get worse unless both kids and adults take action." - Andrew

QUOTE BOX ~ Read what other students have to say!
"I learned that if you spray pesticides on the plants it helps kill the pests. However, it also gets onto the fruit and can affect us if we eat it. Also, if it rains the rain can wash the pesticide into the river and affect the animals there, too. We should tell companies that we don't want them to use pesticides." - Oscar
