Get Ready for Your Trip ~ Spending the Night pg#2

THE NIGHT HIKE: One of the activities that all of the kids in our class absolutely love is the night hike. To enjoy your night hike you should make sure to dress warmly. Even though it may be sunny during the day, once the sun goes down it can get very chilly in the Hidden Villa valley. Dress in layers with a long-sleeved shirt, thick jacket and maybe even a warm hat. The night hike might seem scary at first, but in truth it’s 100% safe. As you probably noticed earlier in the day, Hidden Villa trails are really safe. The main reason for predators to be out at night is to eat rodents like mice and squirrels. They are very shy of people. Also, you are in a group that will make sure nothing bad happens to you. (CLICK "NEXT" FOR PAGE #3)

QUOTE BOX ~ Listen to what other kids have to say! (click photo)
"Yes! It's time for the dark, quiet, spooky night hike. Everyone's happy as we split up into our groups and start to walk. As we walk, we see and hear animals. We can hear coyote as loud as car alarms and see their scat. We know they were here. Also, there are glow worms that are bright like the stars in the sky." - Andrew
