The
Hidden Villa Classroom ~ Hands-On Learning
Learning
at Hidden Villa is hands-on. Students sink their fingers
into the sheep's soft wool while learning about the many
valuable products we get from farm animals. In the garden,
students hunt for familiar foods as they learn about helpful
decomposers and the 6 plant parts. Hiking through the forest,
students turn into detectives as they discover mini-habitats
of animals and medicinal plants Native Americans once used.
Being
encouraged to learn from your own experiences is exciting.
Because of this everyone in our class
loves learning at Hidden
Villa. However, this doesn't mean that everything at Hidden
Villa is easy. Hands-on learning requires that you take risks
and try new things. If you do, we guarantee that you'll learn
a lot and have tons of fun.

"So
like in a textbook it’s not actually happening;
it’s not in YOUR environment. At Hidden Villa
it's right here, it’s happening. We’re
in the middle of it. And we learn information better
that way." - Kelsey |
