The Hidden Villa Classroom ~ Kid Authors

We thought you might want to know a little bit about who we are. We are bilingual students that attend Castro Elementary School in Mountain View, California. At our school we have a special program called dual-immersion. This means that we have had the opportunity to learn both Spanish and English in school since we were in kindergarten! Now we are in 4th and 5th grade and proud to be able to speak and understand not only two languages, but two cultures as well.

Our teacher, Profe. Kristina Underdal, has worked with Hidden Villa to create a new program for us. The 4th graders have gone to Hidden Villa three times this year; 5th graders have participated in SIX Hidden Villa field trips. We all LOVE Hidden Villa! We're sad that the school year is over and that we won't be going back together as a class. However, Hidden Villa will always be in our hearts. And we like knowing that maybe our webpage will help other kids come to love Hidden Villa as much as we do.
