Well, it looks as if winter has officially arrived here at Hidden Villa! There's a noticeable frost on the ground in the mornings, the creek has slowly started flowing again and our fields are lying fallow until the spring! I'm always delighted to see the creek return after the season's first significant rainfall as it's a tangible indicator not only of the seasonal transition but also of programmatic cycles on the farm.

Just last week Summer Camp registration opened for its 68th season and I'm happy to report that sessions are filling up quickly. If you haven't registered your child yet, please don't delay! You can check out our website for more information on how to secure a spot for this enriching, life changing experience.

It's also time to start thinking about our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program. If you've been a CSA member in the past, you won't want to miss out on the most delicious local vegetables and produce around! You can check our website for more information about registration, which will begin on Tuesday, February 21^st. I’m sure you know that by signing up for Hidden Villa’s CSA, you're supporting local sustainable agriculture and doing something beneficial for the health of you and your family.

In the coming months, I hope that you will have the opportunity to visit Hidden Villa in person to enjoy the beauty of this particular time of year. Each season is unique and there's always something new to see and appreciate. Happy February!
