For Summer Campers

Welcome Hidden Villa Campers!

At Hidden Villa Summer Camp, you will meet our farm animals, explore our farm and garden, hike our wilderness, swim in our pool, explore your creativity in arts and crafts projects, sing songs, sleep under the stars, and make a whole lot of new friends – while making the world a better place!

Here is what Hidden Villa Summer Camp looks like:

Take a look at what to bring

Here is what campers say about their time at Hidden Villa:

  • “ Every session you learn more about yourself, and those around you, about friendships and communication. The friendships and memories I have made here are things that I will carry with me throughout my life.”
  • “At Hidden Villa there is a sense of peace and belonging and also just fun! Campers get to work on the farm, swim, climb, hike, pick blackberries …If I didn’t come to Hidden Villa  where I’m challenged every day to look at things in a new light, I would probably be lounging around at home becoming a couch potato.”
  • “ Whoever you are you will be accepted here. The fact that there is a camp that makes it possible for everyone to feel comfortable is a great feeling. I love this camp for existing, and for making it possible for me to come here.”
  • “Thanks for the fact that I’m not left out of anything. Thank you for being there when I needed you.”
  • “Thank you for letting me take care of the animals and plants.”
  • Thank you, Chicken, for making my day great.”
  • “Hidden Villa was an important experience for me because I made lots of friends, learned new things and was surrounded by nature for two weeks.”

You will get to sing and hear some of our favorite songs over the summer:

Peace

Peace, I ask of thee O River
Peace Peace Peace
When I learn to live serenely
Cares will cease

From the hills I gather courage
Visions of the days to be
Strength to lead and faith to follow
All are given unto me

Peace I ask of thee O River
Peace Peace Peace

Banana Slug Song

You know I love my baby  (love my baby)
I like the way that she hugs  (way that she hugs)
Some people don’t understand it  (don’t understand it)
She’s a banana slug  (banana slug)
Well, she’s got just one foot (just one foot)
And she’s got no toes (got no toes)
She hangs out in the forest (out in the forest)
And helps it decompose (decompose)

CHORUS:
Banana Slug            …         Banananananana!
Ba…Na…Na…Slug!

O when you shake your antennae (shake your antennae)
You know you give me such bliss (give me such bliss)
C’mon, C’mon, C’mon Banana slug (C’mon banana slug)
And let me give you a kiss (give you a kiss)

(Chorus)
