Animal Husbandry Program
The Animal Husbandry Program at Hidden Villa works to pursue Hidden Villa's agricultural mission by:
- Providing a broad educational resource for all Hidden Villa program participants and for casual visitors.
- Demonstrating a sustainable means of animal agriculture, where animal welfare and land stewardship are paramount.
- Conserving heritage breeds of livestock to the extent feasible, considering breed availability and marketability
- Producing quality food and wool for local consumers.

Meet our farm animals!
Open Barn Meat Sale
We will have an open barn meat sale on Saturday, March 16th from 10:00 a.m. to noon. We will have plenty of pork and cuts from 3 lambs and 2 goats. As usual all of our pork is fed organically, weaned at 2 months, finished on pasture and all around delicious. This particular breed of pigs is also known for their great bacon. Our lamb and goat are grass fed and also good eating. The sale takes place in the Hidden Villa Tin Barn and will begin promptly at 10 so be on time for the best selection!
