Jackie grew up in Colorado, spending her time outdoors camping and hiking. Vacations and holidays were often spent on her grandparents’ farm in Washington state where she learned to look after the animals and played in the dirt of her grandma’s garden.  After graduating from Claremont McKenna College, she completed a masters degree in Organizational Psychology and began working for an organizational development consulting firm.  She started her own coaching and development business, engaging leaders in various industries to help maximize their potential and meet their career goals.  She is passionate about helping emerging leaders engage in new challenges and grow their capabilities.  She moved to the Bay Area in 2006 with her husband and two kids and quickly began exploring her new home. The hiking trails, farm and garden at Hidden Villa became a go-to place for her family and her kids have been in Hidden Villa programs, peaking their own interests in agriculture and sustainability. Her volunteer work over the years has included fundraising, tutoring, local food pantries, and employment coaching.  She is excited about joining the Hidden Villa board and applying her efforts towards environmental education and social justice. On her free days, you can find her hiking, mountain biking, skiing or diving into a great book.
