Jazmín grew up in Berkeley, CA then bounced down to Chile, lived in the city but she considers San Rafael’s countryside home, as well as the Berkeley Hills. Jazmín has experience with working with kids, planting & gardening, and taking good care of chickens. Jazmín is interested in working the land, mitigating climate change, teaching social justice and helping folks experience & appreciate nature through Hidden Villa, a place she considers to be aligned with her core values. She was really excited to find she’d be caring for animals. She also values being located in a place where the outdoors is actually right outside instead of a drive away. Walking by and greeting animals while heading anywhere around the farm is really fun for Jazmín. As a crocheter, she’s also hoping to experience and learn about the process of yarn live at Hidden Villa. Her favorite mission-related book is Mi País Inventado de Isabel Allende.
