Lisa grew up in the suburbs of Fremont, CA but has studied abroad for extended periods in France, Syria and Jordan. Lisa has deep experience in development operations and more recently database administration, with some dabbling in data analysis. They have a Master of Public Administration which comes in handy sometimes with a background on organizational sustainability and frameworks, leadership models, consulting techniques, and program evaluation. A problem solver at heart, Lisa loves Hidden Villa’s software systems almost as much as the pigs (but it’s a happy dilemma). Lisa was inspired to work at Hidden Villa because the organization provides staff the flexibility and trust needed to play to their strengths and make unique contributions. Their favorite activities at Hidden Villa include gazing out at the production fields and taking their toddler to see the animals. Lisa hasn’t read anything but the New York Times in a long time but has identified Growing a Revolution: Bringing Our Soil Back to Life by David Montgomery as the next book on the list.
