Description
Leaves, the Earth's original solar panels, make the world go ‘round, as they capture the Sun’s energy in ways that power practically every other living thing. How do leaves work? What are their main adaptations and structures? And why are they so deliciously varied in shape, size, texture, chemistry, and more? This class is for the deeply plant-curious. We will engage with these and other questions together and spend plenty of time observing, touching, smelling, and even tasting living examples along Hidden Villa’s trails.
