Susanna Mirick (she/her)

Susanna grew up in Massachusetts and spent time in Colorado before continuing on to Hidden Villa. She has worked in a variety of environmental education programs including Appleton Farm Camps and Coastal Camp at Nature Bridge. Susanna majored in environmental studies and minored in education at Colorado College. What drew her to Hidden Villa is her love of working with students of all ages in nature and seeing their excitement in exploring the world around them. She also loves getting to work with so many animals and people in such a unique location. Susanna’s favorite activities at Hidden Villa are walking around the farm in the cool quiet mornings and learning the plants in the garden. A mission-related book she enjoys is The Sense of Wonder by Rachel Carson.
