Watercolor Holiday Cards

Description

Spend a relaxing and festive day at Hidden Villa creating beautiful watercolor holiday cards to share with family and friends—or keep as your own special creations.

Instructor Elvira Rascov will guide students step by step through simple watercolor techniques that can be used to create charming holiday images, colorful backgrounds, and decorative details.  The projects are designed to be approachable and enjoyable, even if you have little or no watercolor experience.  You will have the opportunity to experiment with color, practice watercolor techniques, and
create several personal cards in a warm and creative atmosphere.

All materials will be provided for $20 - included in the program fee - so you can simply come, relax, and enjoy the experience.  This workshop is a wonderful way to welcome the holiday season, spend time with others, and create something handmade and meaningful in the beautiful surroundings of Hidden Villa.

Artist Bio: 
Elvira Rascov is a Colombian American artist and art instructor who loves capturing the beauty of nature through watercolor and oil painting. Inspired by her early art teachers in Bogotá, Elvira has been painting for more than 20 years, finding much of her inspiration in the California landscape and the changing light, colors, and textures of nature.  Elvira teaches watercolor and other art classes throughout the Bay Area. She believes art should be fun, creative, and expressive, and enjoys helping students discover their own creativity while learning new techniques. She also incorporates her painting techniques into unique, functional ceramic pieces.

Cost

$60/person  All children must be accompanied by a paying, participating adult.  

All materials are included in the program price.

Good to Know

This class is designed for ages 12 and up.  The registration fee is per person and all children must be accompanied by a paying, participating adult.

No experience necessary!  We welcome all aspiring artists.

Please note this class requires a minimum of 7 participants to hold the class.  If we do not reach the minimum, we will notify and refund all registrants.
