Alua Suleimenova is a sustainability leader with more than a decade of experience advancing environmental impact across the private, public, and nonprofit sectors. Her career began in applied environmental research and later expanded to international development, including work with United Nations programs, before moving into corporate sustainability consulting and in-house sustainability leadership. Now based in Mountain View, California, after spending nearly a decade living and working in Europe, Alua is excited to contribute her sustainability expertise and community-focused perspective to Hidden Villa’s mission of connecting people with nature, education, and stewardship. In her spare time, Alua enjoys traveling, as well as exploring art and culture, and creative writing. She is passionate about lifelong learning, building community, and deepening people’s connection with the natural world.
