Elliott is Vice Chair, President and serves on the Board of Trustees of Hidden Villa. He is also a Director of the Western Region for the Natural Resources Defense Council focused on climate and implementation of the Inflation Reduction Act. He has a background in nonprofit leadership and management, equity in experiential education, and conservation. Elliott served five years as Executive Director at Environmental Volunteers, as Campaign Director of the Northern Sierra Partnership, and six years at The Nature Conservancy. On the adventure side, Elliott leads programs with NOLS and REI in hiking, backpacking, cycling, and climbing. Elliott believes that thoughtful, culturally relevant, enthusiastically-designed programs integrating farm and wilderness connections can be life-changing and life-affirming. He holds a degree in Biology and History from Bowdoin College and a nonprofit management fellowship from El Pomar Foundation. Elliott is based in Palo Alto and at Hidden Villa.
