Riley Vitale (he/him)

Outdoor Educator

Riley was born and raised in San Jose, CA. He has been a part of the Hidden Villa community for over 10 years, starting out as a summer camper in the Farm and Wilderness program. He has continued on to work at Hidden Villa in a variety of roles including Summer Camp Counselor, Head Lifeguard, Education Program Specialist, and Farm and Wilderness Unit Leader. He has also taught at and volunteered for other non profits between seasonal positions. It was at Hidden Villa where Riley first discovered his passion for nature and that is a gift he is eager to pass on and share with others. He’s also very excited to get to work at a place that is not only as beautiful as Hidden Villa, but shares lots of his core values including social justice, environmental stewardship, regenerative agriculture, and accessibility. Some of his favorite things to do on the property include hiking the trails, staring at the cows, and enjoying all the delicious foods the farm has to offer. Riley doesn’t have a favorite mission-related book (yet!) as he is generally more of a fiction reader, but he would absolutely love to check out any recommendations!
