Tana DeSandres (she/her)

Garden Coordinator

Tana grew up in a small town called Mariposa nestled in the foothills right outside of Yosemite National Park. Tana fell in love with the outdoors at a young age. Having Yosemite as her backyard inspired wonder and curiosity about the natural world and helped to foster a love for exploring in the outdoors. Tana was drawn to Hidden Villa because of their desire to offer educational experiences centered around developing a greater appreciation of our natural world. Some of Tana’s favorite activities at Hidden Villa are spending time tending to the garden, exploring the trails, or visiting the animals. Tana’s favorite mission-related book is “The Sound of a Wild Snail Eating” By Elisabeth Tova Bailey
