Description
Insects and their allies are essential to human life. They help with pollination, decomposition, are critical links in food chains, and much more. When seen closely, each one is also a miracle of evolutionary engineering, and often as beautiful as any piece of art.
This class will be equal parts celebration and investigation. After a photographic overview of insect diversity at Hidden Villa, we will venture outside to see “who’s flying!” Bug enthusiasts of all ages are welcome.
Note: All organisms we interact with will either be observed in the wild, or released in their original locations afterwards.
