Education Guide Training, Pt 1: Farm Tour Basics

Description

This is a full-day training (9am-4pm), required for all new Farm Tour and Farm and Wilderness guides.

Topics Include: 

  • Components of a Farm Tour (garden and animals visits) 
  • Educational approach
  • First aid and emergencies 
  • Inclusive practices 
This training will meet in the Wolken Education Center at 9am. Please dress comfortably for walking about the farm, and bring a sack lunch.
