It’s surprisingly easy to find animal evidence wherever you may be, once you start looking. These basic resources, techniques and principles could launch you into a lifetime of discovery.

Feeling connected in nature can be an elusive goal on our own, but with guidance and a supportive community, it may become an attainable and transformative experience.

Scat is just one category of the myriad of phenomena that animals leave behind them.

This time we will rendezvous at Gazos Creek State Beach for some actual field tracking. Sand is among the most treasured substrates for tracking. It can often tell intricate stories of where an animal went, what it did along the way, and perhaps even why it did all that.
