Join Certified USA Archery Instructors for a spooky good time on our Archery Range this Halloween!

Spring is an especially fun time to pay attention to birds. Many will be at their showiest, singing their hearts out, defending territories, constructing nests, or perhaps already tending to their nestlings.

Visit Hidden Villa and explore our education garden, discover our hiking trails and view farm animals from outside their pens and pastures. Reservations are encouraged, but not required. The property is open to visitors from dawn to dusk.

This training is required for all new Farm and Wilderness guides. (Farm Tour guides are not required to take this training.)

Volunteer with Hidden Villa's farm team and help us care for food for the local community.

We’ll go exploring for the entirety of this class, in search of examples of the wide variety of fungi that occur at Hidden Villa during the rainy season.

A playful introduction to the awesomely strange, wonderful, and utterly essential world of the fungi.

Get your hands dirty in one of Hidden Villa's many gardens and landscapes!

During this 2 day workshop learn the ancient art of tannin-bath hide tanning! Each student will take home a finished Hidden Villa hide.

In this class, we will harvest from the wild lands and field edges of Hidden Villa and conclude the morning by sharing a communal wild salad.

Join us to find out which snakes and lizards live in our area, which ones are dangerous, and which of them are hugely helpful on an organic farm like Hidden Villa's. See slides and preserved specimens up close, and learn why the usually sluggish California Slender Salamander might just be one of the fastest land animals around!

Join for a day of trail maintenance on the Hidden Villa trails. No experience necessary.

Create a welcoming experience for all Hidden Villa Visitors! Help visiting individuals, families and groups orient to the property, learn about our programs, trails, and a bit of history! Minimum commitment of 4 hours/month.

Maintain Hidden Villa's education garden and plant landscaping.

Help us grow high quality, local, sustainably raised produce. Registration required on our Calendar of Events.

Enjoy a 1.5 hour guided exploration of the garden, farm, and surrounding area in our unique and beautiful location. Visit and interact with the farm animals, learn about the environment, and spend some time outside in nature.

Learn how to make a beautiful seasonal wreath with fresh cut greenery from the farm during this 1.5 hour class. At the end of this class you will take home your unique and fragrant wreath, the perfect winter decoration.
