After a full day of school, give your child the chance to spend their afternoons exploring Hidden Villa’s farm and wilderness.

Spring is an especially fun time to pay attention to birds. Many will be at their showiest, singing their hearts out, defending territories, constructing nests, or perhaps already tending to their nestlings.

Visit Hidden Villa and explore our education garden, discover our hiking trails and view farm animals from outside their pens and pastures. Reservations are encouraged, but not required. The property is open to visitors from dawn to dusk.

Roots have a life of their own that may surprise you! For their part, shoots (or stems or ‘trunks’) facilitate a complex exchange of functions between above- and below-ground parts of plants. Join us to delve into those mysterious functions and processes, and watch some of them in action on the farm and in the forest.
